At Philastrosoc, we simply observe not preach, perhaps because we enjoy the science of Astronomy rather than the study of Astrology. What’s the difference you ask?In the early ages of academia, there was little designation to differentiate the two separate fields, though as modern science has progressed throughout the centuries, individual definitions have clearly taken shape, much like the hazy nether regions of space both disciplines so keenly observe. In short, astronomers are physicists while astrologists are philosophers. The primary goal of astronomy is to understand how and why the universe maneuvers the way it does, the position and functionality of each celestial object within the larger pattern of stars, space rocks and galaxies.
